Alvis Brothers Ltd. (Lye Cross Farm) we are 3rd generation family dairy specialists and farmers since 1952. We are situated just outside Cheddar in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Mendip Hills, in South-West England. We farm across 4,000 acres, and are home to 3 herds totalling 1,000 dairy cattle. We specialise in cheddar cheese and provide a range of quality traditional and organic cheddars, including PDO, as well as territorial cheese such as Red Leicester & Double Gloucester. We not only sell cheese to supermarkets, shops and delicatessens, but also package cheese for own-brand labels and the manufacturing sector. We are a multi-award-winning company with strong performance in the UK market, and also exports to more than 40 countries.
