Food Industries and Nutrition Research Institute is one of the important institutes in the National Research Centre. Consists of 6 Departments: Nutrition and Food Sciences, Fats & Oils, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Chemistry of Flavor and Aroma, Food Toxicology and Contaminants. One of the main goals of the institute is human health through production of healthy functional foods and dietary supplements for prevention and management of different chronic diseases. Studying the consumers’ habits and their relationship with health. Reducing the toxins in food and food products. Producing natural flavors and coloring. Searching for the new trends in dairy science and dairy products. Studying fats and oil and their derivatives.
