Promac Group of companies was formed in 1989 with the establishment of Promac Enterprises Sdn Bhd (PE). Over the years, Promac has expanded its business in the distribution, manufacturing, packaging, trading of dairy products and edible oils under its five other subsidiary companies.

Since 1990, Promac has been appointed as the Official Authorized Sole Distributor in Malaysia for Fonterra Ingredients from New Zealand. Presently, Promac's distributorship extends to Brunei and Singapore as well. Additionally, the company owns the registered brand-Promex, renowned for its Instant Full Cream Milk Powder products, widely distributed across African and Middle Eastern markets.

Promac Food Products (PFP) serves as the essential export marketing arm for the Promac Group. PFP's primary function is to export consumer packaged food products, including dairy, edible oils, cereals, and more.
